Accessibility Statement
*Last updated: June 2026*
Commitment to Accessibility
TZUR is committed to ensuring that the TZUR Wallet Desktop app for Windows is accessible to people with disabilities. We believe every person deserves equal access to self-custody Bitcoin, regardless of ability.
Operator
The TZUR Wallet app is published by Blocksight OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (European Union).
Compliance Standard
We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our technical baseline. This is the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), which applies to consumer financial services in the European Union. For our users in Israel, this statement also aligns with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Services), 5773-2013, which likewise adopt WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
Conformance Methodology
We assess the TZUR Wallet Desktop app against WCAG 2.1 Level AA using a combination of automated checks and manual testing with the Windows Narrator screen reader, keyboard-only navigation, operating-system text scaling, and high-contrast settings across every supported language. Reviews are repeated whenever a substantive UI change ships.
Accessibility Features in the App
TZUR Wallet is built as a native desktop application. The following features are supported:
- Screen reader support: critical flows (wallet balance, send, receive, transaction history, seed display and confirmation, security setup, PIN entry, settings) expose localized labels and values for interactive elements across all 31 supported languages, for use with the Windows Narrator screen reader. Decorative animations and images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Keyboard navigation: interactive controls are reachable and operable with the keyboard.
- Text scaling: text respects the operating system's text-size and display-scaling settings.
- Reduce Motion: an in-app toggle stops drifting backgrounds, starfields, and particle effects throughout the app.
- Enhanced Contrast: an in-app toggle forces bold weight on every piece of text in the app for higher legibility.
- Right-to-Left layouts for Hebrew, Arabic, Farsi, and Urdu.
- Localized content across 31 languages.
Accessibility Toggles in Settings
Settings → General → Accessibility gives you two app-level controls:
- Reduce Motion: stops decorative background animations throughout TZUR Wallet.
- Enhanced Contrast: bolds all text in the app for stronger visual contrast.
The same screen also provides a link back to this statement.
Known Limitations
Screen-reader coverage on critical flows is complete; some auxiliary screens (Explorer visualizations, UTXO physics view, animated block cards) fall back to baseline labels and are being expanded. QR code images are hidden from screen readers by design because the raw bit pattern is not meaningful to a screen reader; the underlying address is always exposed as a copyable text field. We continue to review the app for accessibility and welcome reports of any barrier you encounter.
Feedback and Contact
If you experience accessibility issues or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at contact@tzur.live. We take accessibility feedback seriously and aim to respond within 14 working days. Where a reported issue is confirmed, we publish a remediation timeline alongside the response.
